How to Use Our Products

+ Conjure oils can be worn on the skin (pay attention to allergy warnings in the listing please!); used to anoint objects, people, or spaces; dripped onto free-standing candles or 7-day vigil candles; and used to feed mojo hands that correspond to their purpose. When dressing a 7-day candle, make sure to poke a few holes in the top using a nail or pin for the oil to drain into; this prevents the oil from smothering your candle. The oils are very concentrated; only 1 to 3 drops per candle are necessary.

+ Herbal Blends already have the oil inside them and don’t require extra oil. Simply add a pinch of this mixture to your 7-day candle, and let the fun begin! Make sure to keep all herbs away from the wick and to avoid using them too liberally, or you run the risk of smothering the candle flame.

+ Florida Water, Holy Water, & spiritual sprays can be spritzed on a person, sprayed around a home or other location, added to bath water or mop water, or used in spiritual hand washes.

Herbal Bath Instructions

Hoodoo Belle’s Herbal Baths are individually crafted to be moisturizing and nourishing to the skin and contain a highly concentrated blend of essential oils in order to deliver the best value in the smallest package. Each jar of herbal bath salts contains enough product for 8 or 9 individual spiritual baths. DO NOT use the entire bottle at once! Doing so puts one at risk. The essential oils used in each bath blend are powerful medicine, and they should be treated with respect! Carefully add only about 1 to 2 tablespoons of salt to your bath water; if you desire more salt to create a relaxing, muscle-soothing soak, supplement with plain Epsom salt.

Each bath has been formulated for a different intention, as stated on the label, and is meant to add to your spiritual practice using carefully chosen herbal oil blends and an infusion of powerful magic. To choose the bath blend that is right for you, be sure to select the one that you feel most called to and that you feel will enhance your intentions and goals. Spiritual baths such as these are most commonly used to cleanse your aura and energy, welcome and enhance positive intentions, remove residual negative energy left over from personal contact and interaction, and ritually purify yourself before magical work. To take a spiritual bath, begin by making the space you will bathe in sacred in a way that speaks to you. This could involve lighting candles, smudging, playing peaceful music, meditating, or otherwise preparing your mind, body, and soul to be in a state of tranquility, receptivity, and repose. After filling the tub, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of your selected bath blend, while being mindful of your intention; you may choose to state your intention aloud at this time. Step into the bath as if you are stepping into another world, one that will change and transform you, thereby changing and transforming your future for the best possible outcome.

Allow yourself to soak and ritually scrub in this sacred water. It is traditional to splash the water over yourself 7, 11, or 13 times while praying. After you have concluded your bathing ritual, allow the water to drain while remaining in the tub; visualize the impurities being pulled from your aura and carried away. As it flows away, thank the water and the sacred bath blend for its role in your ritual.
