Recorded January 29th, 2023 in Nashville, TN
This class covers the basic principles of Goetia and its uses in Shadow Work based on the idea of viewing the 72 named spirits of the Goetia, a 17th century grimoire that has been updated and revised over the years, as archetypes and rulers over the "shadow" itself. This opens a path to renegotiating our pain, trauma, triggers, and illnesses through direct interaction with these spirits, if we are able to carefully identify the ones responsible. A brief history of Goetia and its use will be covered, along with an explanation of archetypes, the shadow, identifying spirits/contracts, summoning, and renegotiation. Collectively, this introductory class will give you a strong basis for understanding demonology, the purpose of demons, our interactions with these beings, and how to bring shadows into the light.
Please note that the vast majority of the content of this class represents MY OPINION AND BELIEF based on personal experience and UPG. Others (including yourself) may disagree. Discourse is welcomed.
THIS CLASS IS NOT FOR THE FAINT-HEARTED. If you have a moral objection to or fear of demons, the methods mentioned in the class may not be something you want to try yourself. The level of magical skill needed for a good summoning is INTERMEDIATE, with the requirement that you have a spiritual team (saints, angels, gods, goddesses, God, and/or ancestors) to protect you and the ability to communicate with spirits in some way (clairvoyance, clairaudiance, or reliable divination). Even if you choose not to experiment, I encourage anyone who likes to learn to still give it a listen and enjoy the content.
